During the past few months, my wife's 17 year old niece (Tasha) has had to live with us due to unforeseen circumstances.
Which was fine, even though she had to sleep on a fold up bed in our living room.
However, I never fully understood how lazy, untidy and generally messy she can be (I am not saying this because she is a teenager, as I now other teenagers who are now where near as bad), and this did start to put a strain within our household.
To add another issue to the situation, her boyfriend, who seemed ok, turned out to be a real ignorant git, speaking or saying hello to you as and when it suits.
One example of this was between Christmas and new year I had gone out in the car, and when I had come back, the house was full of people visiting, including my wife's niece and her partner.
This was fine, but what pissed me off was when I got in, I went straight into the dining room, which is where the household computer is, and saw HIM on my computer (which so far was ok, as tasha and him were moving out and were surfing the net for beds and stuff), but when I said HELLO, he said nothing. He did not even turn round to acknowledge me.
This pissed me off…he is in my house, on my computer, the least I would expect is a HELLO.
This is one of many instances where both of them have taken the piss with my generosity and kindness, which is why, now they have moved out to their flat, that I am a lot more happier and content.
YAA – F***ING - WHOOOOO
She still comes to our house on occaision, but he does not, which is good, because he is as welcome as the Black Death.
A side note to this is also my wife's daughter, who also got to the point where she could not stand tasha's boyfriend and moaned continuously when she knew he was coming to our house.
She too, is a lot happier these days.

The past couple of weeks I have been watching a series of programs called Planet Earth (there was something else in the title but I cannot remember) and it focused on the problems of global warming, it’s effects on the worlds weather and what we could possibly do to reduce our contribution to it.
Although the Earth in it’s natural cycle tends to heat up and cool down, which is evident through the prehistoric period where dinosaurs roamed in some of the coolest areas of our current time, as they were a lot warmer then, to the numerous ice ages that we have had.
Scientists have been able to establish the carbon content of our atmosphere before the industrial revolution (17th century) started, which measured at about 280ppm (parts per million). Now it measures 380ppm, which is an increase of over 33% in just 400 years!
Although some of this increase can be attributed to the natural evolution of the earth, the bulk of this increase has been as a result of our own making.
So, the more carbon emitted into the atmosphere, the less chance that the heat from the sun can escape our atmosphere, thus the Earth in general becomes warmer.
Basically, unless we start to change the way we live, and reduce dramatically the amount of carbon we emit into the atmosphere today, in 50 years time the ice caps will be nearly non-existent, sea levels will have risen dramatically, and the average summer temperature here in the UK will be +40ºC.
Countries like America, China, India etc really need to take note of what the scientists are saying. Even scientists who were once skeptics about global warming have now agreed it is happening and the consequences immense if we (we as in the ones causes the bulk of the emissions) don’t do something about it.
Time to wake up now, act, or the future for us, our children and their children looks horribly bleak!

The books I am reading are by Simon Scarrow, and it centers on the adventures of a Centurion called Macro and his Opto called Cato in AD43 - the time when Rome decided to make Britain a province of the Roman Empire.
Brilliant book.....easy to get into and not annoyingly detailed.

I bought a newspaper today. That is unusual because I normally read my book, but since I have finished the third book in the series that I am reading and dont have the 4th yet, I decided to buy a newspaper to read on the train this morning.
The headline was quite suprising, stating that we in the UNITED KINGDOM are due to suffer snow blizzards and -15 degrees celcius temperatures over the next 3 or 4 days.
This is an unusual occurance in the UNITED KINGDOM, but what struck me was the fact that all these people who talk of global warming always predict different weather conditions for us.
Some say it will get hotter due to rising temperatures, other say it will get cooler because the Gulf Stream is being cooled down by melted ice caps from the Artic and this will cause us to have colder and wetter weather.
CONFUSED???? I am...so who is right?

On my other weblog (tblog - click the picture to the left, the union jack panty picture) I made an effort to convey why I post the sort of pictures that I do on there.
The pictures are of an adult nature, and may offend people, especially women, but at the end of the day, it is my blog, and if they do not like what they see, then they should not visit again.
On the other hand, I do try to avoid out right pornography and explicit pictures and prefer to post non-nude or semi nude women.
On occasion I will post links that will take you to another site that may show a large collection of pictures of naked women, and maybe I should post some warning.
What are your thoughts about the warning??????

Hello again.
Long time.
2 main reasons for my absence.
1st - I cut the tendons in to of my fingers of my right hand (I am right handed too) which laid me up for 2 months, and since I had no PC at home, I could not post anything.
2nd - I got really bored of blogging. I was getting plenty of hits both here and my other blog at Tblog, but hardly anyone ever left a comment. I am the sort of person that will leave a comment, even if the blog i visit is boring as hell. To me it is just curtosy.
Anyway, I seem to have got the bug back and have decided to cut down my blog site to 2...this one and tblog.
Do visit regularly and leave a comment, as I will be post very regular from now on.

I really dont know which blog or blogs to use.
I want to kep using tblog only because it has a good chat box on it, and it helps to encourage people to visit your blog. Other sites dont have that and rely on people seeing the most recently posted blogs and visiting them.
I like this blog, dont really know why. It does have a chat feature, which is part of the reason why I like it, and I suppose the other is that I have had no problems with it at all.
Blogspot or blogger is good to, but no chat facility.
And finally Ebloggy. It is good to but is exactly the same problem as blogspot.....no chat facility
One of these 3 blogs must go....please look at them then vote on this blog for me so it will help me decide. thanx
